A typical class includes a simple welcome, a nature-inspired activity, time for unstructured exploration, and a closing with bubbles and a sticker send-off. Each session is thoughtfully designed, but flexible—allowing children to engage in a way that feels natural to them.
One day might include a family-friendly walk to the stream to explore water, rocks, and movement, while another might involve painting cardboard wings and learning about the life cycle of a butterfly as children pretend to fly and play.
While each child’s level of participation will vary, Sprout & Connect is designed as a caregiver-and-me class, where you remain present. Your involvement supports connection, co-regulation, and a shared sense of exploration in a natural environment.
Yes! We often have siblings of all ages attend. We offer sibling discounts in all our classes.
Sprout & Connect runs year round outdoors in all safe weather conditions. We embrace the benefits of outdoor play in every season and find these "imperfect" weather moments often create some of the most memorable experiences. We vary locations throughout the park to match the classes activity and weather that day.
With this in mind, safety is first! In cases of severe or unsafe weather, class will be rescheduled.
